What clients ask us before the first project
How does a project with Kominal work?
After a first conversation you receive an assessment of effort and approach. We work in short iterations of one to two weeks and regularly show you working increments. After each iteration you decide how to continue.
What does custom software cost?
It depends on the scope. Smaller tools and integrations start in the low five-figure range, extensive portals are above that. After the first conversation we give you a reliable range; for clearly scoped undertakings we also offer fixed prices.
Do you take over existing applications built by other providers?
Yes. We first analyse code, data model and operations and tell you openly what state the application is in. Then you decide whether we evolve, modernise or replace it.
Where is our data hosted?
On servers of German providers in German data centres. We sign a data processing agreement with you. On request we also operate the application in your own infrastructure.
Which technologies do you work with?
At the core TypeScript, Angular, React and NestJS, plus MongoDB or PostgreSQL and Keycloak for authentication. Java and Python where needed. We choose the technology to fit the project and your team.
Do you also work for clients outside the Cologne area?
Yes, throughout Germany and in Switzerland. Collaboration is mostly remote; for the kick-off and important meetings we are happy to come to you.
